Meet Coach Franco

"Practice, practice, practice."

Coach Franco played professionally for Atlas, a professional soccer team in Mexico, and the Chicago Vultures. Previously, he was also a part of the Sub-20 Mexican national team. In 1994, he began the Morton College soccer program, for men and later on for women, in Cicero, Illinois. Coach Franco is certified by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). He continues to coach at Morton College and with his professionalism and dedication; helps develop players for the college level and beyond.

However, his passion has always been to share his knowledge in soccer to train youth. With 20 years of coaching experience and a lifetime of playing, his goal is to help youth develop professional level soccer skills and leadership characteristics. He has the ability to guide them to the college and professional level (including advice to be recruited). Coach Franco's motto is to practice, practice, practice; this is the key to becoming not only a successful soccer player, but also a successful individual in life.

The Franco Soccer Academy will offer soccer training sessions this summer, led by Coach Franco, to help youth reach their highest potential and become the professionals they are meant to become.

Our mission is to improve soccer skills and motivate youth to positively achieve their goals. We are committed to not only improving athletic talents but also academics; since we believe soccer and education go hand in hand.
